1. Choose your test
Pick a ready-made panel or build your own from our biomarker list. Every panel shows what it measures, how your sample is collected, how long results take, and what the test cannot tell you — before you commit to anything.
2. Choose how your sample is taken
Not every test can be done the same way. Some need only a finger-prick; others need a venous draw taken by a trained phlebotomist. Each panel tells you which options it supports.
Home kit
A finger-prick kit posted to you, with everything you need and a freepost return envelope. Take the sample at home and post it back the same day.
Appointment at a partner clinic
Book an appointment at a partner clinic or pharmacy near you. A trained phlebotomist takes a venous sample, usually in around fifteen minutes. You book the appointment here on this website — there is no separate account or third-party booking to deal with.
Mobile appointment
A trained phlebotomist visits your home or workplace within an agreed time window. Booked here in the same way, subject to coverage in your postcode.
3. Your sample is analysed
Samples are analysed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory working to ISO 15189, the international standard for medical laboratories. We will publish the laboratory’s name and UKAS schedule number before we begin testing.
Expected turnaround at launch is 2 to 3 working days for home kits, and 5 to 7 working days for panels that need a venous draw or specialist analysis. These are expectations, not guarantees — we will publish measured turnaround times once we are running samples.
4. You get your results, explained
Results arrive in your dashboard rather than as a flat PDF. Each result is shown against the reference interval set by the analysing laboratory, which is the clinical standard. Where we also show a target range, that is our own editorial guidance, and we state its source and who approved it. A target range is not a clinical threshold.
Results are reviewed by clinicians registered with the GMC or HCPC, and we name them with their registration numbers so you can check them on the public register.
What this is not
Our tests measure biomarkers and help you understand what they mean. They do not diagnose conditions, and we do not prescribe or supply medicines. A result is not a diagnosis, and this service does not replace your GP.
