Employee health screening for UK teams

Health screening is one of the few benefits staff use and remember. It is also one of the easiest to run badly — unclear pricing, patchy uptake, and reporting that either tells HR nothing or tells it too much.

Trupoint Health runs employee health screening for UK businesses through UKAS-accredited laboratory partners. Employees book when it suits them, results go to them and only them, and you get anonymised aggregate reporting plus the spend controls finance will ask for.

What a corporate health check includes

Our standard panel covers:

• Full blood count — red cells, white cells and platelets
• Liver function — ALT, AST, ALP, bilirubin and albumin
• Kidney function — creatinine, eGFR, urea and electrolytes
• Full lipid profile — total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides
• HbA1c — average blood glucose over roughly three months
• Thyroid function (TSH) — screens for under- and overactive thyroid
• Vitamin D and vitamin B12 — both commonly low in UK adults
• Full urinalysis — kidney, urinary and metabolic markers

Panels are configurable. Add or remove markers to suit your workforce, or run different panels for different cohorts.

How it works

1. Scope the programme. Choose panels, set a budget, decide who is eligible.
2. Invite your team. Bulk import your roster or send invites; staff activate their own accounts.
3. Employees book. On-site at your premises, at one of our locations, or by home kit.
4. Results go to the employee. Securely, typically within 24–48 hours, with a clinician-reviewed summary.
5. You get aggregate reporting. Anonymised and cohort-level. Never individual results.

Confidentiality

Individual results belong to the employee. Employers receive only anonymised, aggregated insight, and only where cohort sizes are large enough that individuals cannot be identified.

This is not a policy preference — it is what UK data protection law requires of health data. It is also the thing that decides whether your staff trust the programme enough to use it.

Frequently asked questions

Do employees need to fast beforehand?

For the standard panel, employees should avoid food for around 8 hours before their appointment. Water is fine. We confirm requirements when the appointment is booked.

How quickly do results arrive?

Typically within 24–48 hours of the sample reaching the laboratory. Employees are notified as soon as results are ready in their secure portal.

Can the panel be tailored to our industry?

Yes. Panels are built per programme, and you can run different panels for different cohorts within the same organisation.

Can testing happen at our premises?

What does the employer actually see?

Aggregate, anonymised reporting only. Never an individual employee’s results.

How is health data stored?

UK-hosted, encrypted in transit and at rest, processed by accredited laboratory partners under UK GDPR.
